Vaudou Game, a Franco-Togolese band founded in 2014 by Peter Solo, draws its inspiration from voodoo rituals and Afro-funk rhythms. Both psychedelic and danceable, the group blends traditional chants with modern grooves. After their acclaimed debut album, "Apiafo (2016), they made a name for themselves on the national scene, and their infectious energy attracted major festivals such as Jazz à Vienne and Les Vieilles Charrues . In 2022, their appearance at WOMAD (UK) strengthened their reputation as international ambassadors of world music.
Between trance and funk, Vaudou Game celebrate African culture with a bold modern edge. Their concerts are true ceremonies, captivating audiences with their intensity and spirituality. Always on tour, they carry a message of peace and resistance through their art. Their music, at once ancestral and resolutely contemporary, continues to win over an ever-widening audience.
"Fintou", their latest album, was released in early 2025.
