Ava Carrère and Ismaël have been doing whatever they want for ten years, and their band is still riding high.
Accepting life's twists and turns as their guiding principles, we think they're in Burgundy but they're in Brussels, some swear they're their neighbours in Paris while others have spotted them in Zimbabwe. For a long time, we thought they were a couple, but it turns out they're brother and sister. Indefinable, they're even cooler than when they started out.
Their audience is getting younger, as is their music, but not their message. Whether they're talking about Aymeric Lompret, justice or ornithology, their songs are all different and all familiar. Excellent in both their sparkle and their depth, they are unlike any other, and that's probably why we can't get rid of them.
On stage, they are fresher than ever, and their touring colleagues Nyllo Canela and Clélia Bobichon are in the starting blocks, ready to resume the tour, where the quartet excels at creating an atmosphere of joy and misery.
