Paris Zydeco Club : when the bayou meets the capital…

Welcome to the Paris Zydeco Club ! Here, the sounds of traditional zydeco pulsate with a unique rock energy. The Parisian sextet puts a fresh spin on this festive Creole music from Louisiana, infusing it with a bold, urban twist.

On guitar and vocals, the charismatic Sanseverino leads the way with his inimitable wit, punk poetry and sharp chords. Alongside him, David Rolland sets the stage alight with his powerful voice, his accordion and his ‘frottoir’, an iconic symbol of zydeco. On the accordion, Eric Allard-Jacquin masterfully weaves melodies and counter-melodies, whilst on electric guitar and backing vocals, Daniel Mizrahi spices up the gumbo with touches of rhythm & blues and country. The rhythm section, featuring Ben Body on bass and Pat Gigon on drums, ensures the groove keeps pulsing throughout the evening !

The Paris Zydeco Club’s repertoire ranges from original compositions to unlikely covers (did you say a Doors/Renaud medley ?!) whilst paying tribute to the masters of the genre (Clifton Chenier, Beau Jocques…) with a few classics from the repertoire.

With their infectious energy and passion, the musicians of the Paris Zydeco Club warm hearts and spirits, drawing dancers onto the dance floor !
