Natascha Rogers

Natascha Rogers is a versatile artist, a percussionist, pianist, singer and composer.

Born in the Netherlands to a Dutch mother and a father of Amerindian descent, she grew up in Holland before moving to France in 1996. Her music is deeply influenced by her varied cultural roots, blending Afro-American, Afro-Cuban and Mande traditions with elements of jazz and pop.

Her latest album, ‘Onaida’, released on 16 February 2024, is an intimate and spiritual solo project. It marks a return to her roots for Natascha Rogers, who rediscovers her first instrument, the piano. The album is a personal exploration of universal themes such as humanity, spirituality, nature and femininity, while paying homage to her ancestors.

Inspirations for ‘Onaida’ include Yoruba spirits, Afro-Latin rhythms and her Amerindian heritage.
