Loup(s)... is pack groove, artisan psychedelia, music that runs through the woods between Pink Floyd and Khruangbin, before landing on a century-old piano that sounds like it was possessed by the Beatles.
An instinctive, cinematic work, between tension and chiaroscuro, where each piece seems to trace its own path through the night.
Renowned for his guitar playing at the crossroads of rock and jazz, Matthis Pascaud stands out with his daring compositions and sound writing that transcends boundaries. Since 2016, he has collaborated with Ayo, Erik Truffaz, Anne Paceo, Hugh Coltman, Marion Rampal and Moonlight Benjamin, for whom he has produced three albums as artistic director.
After three critically acclaimed albums, including Night Trippin' (2022) alongside Hugh Coltman, a vibrant tribute to Dr. John, Matthis Pascaud is opening a new chapter with Loup(s), a free and organic instrumental project, combining electric tension and poetic groove.
