New EP “Prologue” released on 19/06/26

Having explored rock with Poni Hoax and jazz with Limousine and Tigre d’Eau Douce, Laurent Bardainne has finally released his first pop EP under his own name – as sunburnt as a summer’s day, with a hit single (“This is your song”) serving as the perfect sunscreen.
For twenty-five years, clothes have been piling up in this colourful wardrobe, but there was still room on an empty shelf for a solo project, under his own name alone. 

That’s now a reality with this “Prologue” EP, on which Laurent Bardainne presents, on the Heavenly Sweetness label, a summary of all his previous musical journeys.

Whilst some may still find it hard to follow the saxophonist and keyboardist’s journey(s), let’s just say that for a quarter of a century, the Frenchman born in Fougères has been seeking beauty wherever it may be hidden. Having explored almost every nook and cranny of rock and jazz, the time has now come for a synthesis : “I wanted to take a break from exploring jazz, he explains, I wanted to blend together for the first time everything I’ve done since I started out – that is to say, Poni Hoax, Limousine and Tigre d’Eau Douce.” 

The result is a sunny EP made up of unexpected (re)discoveries…
